Holy Crap its been a month.

Well the Sens are returning to their old selves. LOSING.
The Leafs are hoping they could make the playoffs with getting into OT 90 times this season. But has anyone told them they don't have that many games in a season, plus at the rate they're going they would need about 160 games to complete this feat. Oh wait I know they think they're on a MLB schedule. lolHUnting season starts tomorrow, here Bambi come get some nice ripe apples yummmmmm.

Big trades coming soon, The Leafs are trading the complete team for the Smiths Falls Bears. If Cheechoo don't score soon, he'll be on the trade block at the trade deadline. My guess is Florida for 3rd rounder.

I still haven't won the Lotta max, its not big enough yet for me.

Stay thirsty my friends.

NHL has started, so let the retriement tour begin.

Could this be the last season for these players. It definitely is for some of them, since they've already mentioned it publicly. But others will be keeping it a secret.

Teemu Selanne
Mark Recchi
Mike Modano
Rod Brind'Amour
Scott Neidermayer
Brendan Shanahan
Saku Koivu
Rob Blake
Doug Weight
Keith Tkachuk

OK just a few, but who do you think I've missed.

Correction notice.

In one of my previous posts. I was doing some bad spamming for an ebay store. Well the store was spelt wrong. So here's the correct one. Wolf Den Hockey cards and more. Plus as a bonus check out, Sheldon's Hockey Cards.
The Sens are going to kick the Habs ass this year, no one will know who is going to score, because they lost one score in Heatley and picked up three this summer, in Michalek Kovalev and Cheechoo. Mike Fisher will have a much better year as well.

Holy draft picks Burkeman.

A first and second in 2010 and another first in 2011 for Kessell. I didn't know Kessel was that good. Kinda makes me think the Sens got robbed on the Heatley deal now. If Toronto finishes anywhere like they did the last couple of seasons then Boston will get some pretty sweet picks.

BTW congrats to Theo Fleury to making a strong comeback to the NHL after 6 years.

Get close to your favourite NHL players

Yeah thats right. Feel like owning a piece of your favourite players. Now you can, buy hockey cards that are autographed or contain a piece of memorabilia worn by the player of your choice by shopping at the ebay store called wold Den Hockey cards and more. Ifyour guy isn't there, email the store owner and tell him who you want to see.

The Sens are trying out line combos to see who will fit best beside Spezza. I say put Kovalev Cheechoo and Spezz together. Then on the second line Mihalek(or whatever way its spelt), Alfie and Fisher together, switching Fish out from time to time and inserting Ilya Zubov. Make speed a factor again.

Kessel, now that Heatley has been moved. Its now, where will Kessel go. Nashville or T.O. I'm saying St. Louis, nobody is ever rumoured to go there, unless the rumour is coming form me.

Oh after Kessel debates are over watch for the Sundin rumours. So far it may be Ottawa. Plus will Forsberg start shit again by saying he's working out for another return.

Thats all for now, sorry for the spam.

Heatley finally gone.

Well the trade is final. Who wins in the draft picks swap. Well Ottawa did. San Jose got a 5th rounder, and the Sens walked away with a 2nd rounder.

On to the player swap. At the moment the Sharks won. They got a two time 50 goal scorer. Playing beside Thornton he quite possibly will do it several times now.
The Sens, well with Cheechoo a former 50 goal man, he may not get there agian but 30 goals can be possible for him. Michalek on the other hand time will tell, but with an average of just over 20 some goals a season. If they both keep these numbers up for at least 2 seasons in Ottawa it should be a even deal. Unless.....

The Sharks win the cup.

Less then week of being open....Wolf Den Hockey cards and more. Has three sells. Go to ebay and check it out. Going to keep adding more every couple a days. So suscribe to my emails and I'll send you updates. Sorry for the spam. lol

Jason Smith retiring?

Murray and Smith are set to make an announcement today.

My question is does this mean his salary doesn't go against the cap, and create the needed space to keep both Heatley and Kovalev.

Damn A channel did not give me tickets for next weeks preseason game. But oh well I'll try again.

Things to do on a Friday Night.

First thing to do, is anticipate the upcoming season of the NHL.
Wonder how many goals will Heatley have by Christmas. My guess is 25, Kovalev wil have 15, and Spezza and Alfredsson will by tied with 13 each. BTW Heatley won't be going anywhere till Feb./March. They'll leave the A on his jersey to show him that he is still a valuable asset to the team.

Next thing to do on a friday night.

Wash your dogs, because the idiots decided to kill a skunk under back deck. Yup they thought it was a toy, then after it was dead they weren't to sure about it. So vinegar and tomato juice showers here we come. At least they didn't get completely sprayed, by the still stunk a bit. PLus the skunk wasn't too big.

Here's some BS hockey news.

Lang will give it till Jan. then he decide on calling it a carreer if he hasn't got any takers. His ankle is still bothering him.

Afinagenov will eventually see himself playing in the KHL. Sykora will end up on a team by the end of training camp, but I'm not saying which team or league.

Thats it for now, gotta to go tend to my farm on Farm Town.

Its been a while but here goes nuttin.

Heatley Heatley Heatley.
When is he going to go to San Jose?
Within the next week. Everyone is saying there's a third team in the deal. Montreal is supposed to be the team. But what can the Sens use from them, we already took Kovalev.

So here's the rumour.

San Jose gets:
Dany Heatley
Matt Ellis

Ottawa gets:
Tomas Vanek
Alex Stalock(SJ goaltender prospect)

Buffalo gets:
Jonathan Cheechooooooo
Devin Setoguchi
2010 2nd rounder from San Jose

Then Buffalo will sign Alex Tanguay.
Zherdev will be siging in LA for 3 years 10 mill. The management feels he'll be a good fit in the current roster they have.

Is Heatley singing the Blues?

He sure is. Thats because he's leaning towards accepting to deal that would send him to St. Louis. For they're keeping that quiet. Some completely bogus sources are saying that Paul Kariya and Patrick Berglund are names that are popping up.

The Islanders expect to make more news this week with the siging of Brendan Shanahan to a 2 yrs reportedly worth 4.2 million.

Also the Thrashers are still deciding how they want to move forward and keep Kovalchuk happy. Well the idea of signing Afinogenov is their top chioce at the moment. Others ideas they've had are to sign Tanguay or Lang as well.

Started my new job today.

If New Jersey get Zajac signed by Aug 1st, they're hopeing Kaberle is still available. They're willing to send Zajac to Toronto for Kaberle and a draft pick.

Russell wins the POV everyone.

Whats next for the Avs?

Heatley.

Sakic is about to announce his retirement. So they're about to lose a lil bit of scoring. So Wojtek Wolski, Brett Clark and Marek Svatos on their way to Ottawa for Dany Heatley and Chistoph Schubert. Plus as a bonus they might still try to snag Kaberle for Tucker and T.J. Galiardi. And sign another goaltender either try to get Brian Elliott or sign one of the free agents.

Then the Leafs will still try to sign their top 6 forward. Shanahan? Bertuzzi?? Kotalik??? Afinogenov????
But they also might move one or two more defenseman to open up cap space to land something bigger.

The Oilers are still lost.

The Sharks are hoping they can move Marleau or Cheechoo, and free up cash after the deal to pick up Lang and or Koivu.

I'm hoping I didn't miss out, we'll find out tomorrow. Only a couple people know what this means.

Wish me luck.

This season is do or fly for the ducks.

Pronger out. Selanne announced this is his last season. Neidermayer is geting sick of making late minute decisions, one more year in him. He just keeping it to himself. Giguere is their only trade bait and a pricey one too. But they'll keep him until they know they can rely on Hiller. Bobby Ryan will be a RFA next summer and will want more moolah. He'll be gone. So why not trade for Heately or pick up Briere. or both. They have 12 mil of cap space to fool around with. Plus 6 actiual RW and 1 LW.

BTW way I got some extra copies of Stephen King paperbacks, anyone interested. So let's make a deal.

The Sabres are quietly doing nothing, their team depth is diminishing and they have under 9 mill of cap space, with three RFA's to resign. Another sucky season is coming up for them.

I made jam.

Koivu want to stay in Montreal. Hey Saku take a tonne less money, play a lot better, and give the C to someone else. Oh wait there really isn't anyone. Unless they feel Gomez will be able to handle the pressure till 2014. LOL

I'm done for the day, I'm drawing blanks.

BTW if Ottawa keeps Heatley he's losing his Alternate Captain status.

What will Mario do?

After a winning the Stanley Cup, the Pitssburgh Penguins are running into problems. Thats right "D"eep problems. Although no one d-man stood up above the rest, as a group they played well and were there to help to team out. But now that they've lost Hal Gill, Rob Scuderi, and Mikael Samuelsson three of their top 6 defenseman. How will they replace them. They ar eleft with 5 in all. Gonchar(who is aging), Letang, Eaton, Orpik, Goligoski(who?, rookie this past season who was up and down). They have three guys they could use form the minors or will they sign a free agent or pull off a deal. With justinder 3 mill cap space left. What will they do?

One thing they can do is jump on the chance of snagging Cam Barker for a long term deal if the Hawks actually screwed up their qualifying offers.

Or just sit tight and hope what they have will work out. But they could alos swing a deal with Ottawa to get Jason Smith and Brian Elliott for Maxime Talbot and a Draft Pick.

UFA's Part Deux.

Happy Canada Day EH!!!
Here comes the rumours.

So Hossa went to Chicago. There's goes my rumour of them keeping Havlat and signing Cammalerri.

Everyone reporting Mach9(Havlat) may be going to L.A., it looks good, but can they win. I still believe St. Louis is in a position to put more star power up front. After signing Conks they now have a solid back up.

Now with the Islanders. They looked good coming out of the draft. Now they sign Roloson. WTF?. They were other goaltenders out there. Nittymaki, Biron, Legace.

So Mike Comrie will be on the move again, but thats OK Ottawa will pick him up at the deadline next year. It appears he's signing with Colorado.

Mat Schnieder will be offered a contract by L.A.

When the dust settles, Pittsburgh will resign Gill.

Minn would like to sign Koivu and unite him with his brother, but niether player worth the hockey tape they use up.

Eric Cole of course will stay in Carolina.

Sundin will wait the summer out and decide on where to go. He's leaning towards Detroit, Chicago, and Washington. If he doesn't get to stay in Vancouver.

Keep track of this crap. I will be right on some of these.

KHL and Russia bound??

The following players may be choosing to head to the KHL for new opportunities or finish their careers back home.

Alex Kovalev
Sergie Zubov
Nikolia Khabibulin
Robert Lang

L.A will quietly land one of the big names out there, they have cap space to maybe even land a pair of them.

BTW has anyone forgotten about Chris Neil. With Heatley taking all the press in Ottawa will Neil be forgotten, and end up elsewhere.

Stay tuned for part 2 of rumours of more UFA's.

Kaberle Colorado bound????

Yes he could be, but he won't be alone. Burke may want to bring fan fave Darcy Tucker back. So would Kaberle and Stajan be on the move to the Avs for John Michael Liles and Darcy "Mother" Tucker.

Hey Brian Murray, you got three more days to get Heatley a new home, or it'll cost you.

Rumour(or not) has it Jay-Bo won't sign in Calgary unless its going to be more then Phaneuf. If this happens a deal may already be in the works for him to go to Vancouver if it can get pulled off. If not it won't stop the Canucks from signing him on the 1st.

Go Sens!!!!

Busy afternoon in Montreal.

Talks are heating up, but everyone is unsure whether they're making the right moves. Does anyone want Kaberle? Heatley still a Senator but another player may be on the move. No not Spezza, but Chris Neil might be. He's apparently being used to sweeten a deal to move up in the draft.

How about the Islanders, who are they picking or not picking. A very unreliable source mentioned they might swap the 1st pick to Colorado for their 3rd overall pick and a top roster player. Because they've decided to take their chance on Duchene. Whats up with dat????

Florida wants to shakes thingsup but they have no GM, so they don't know how they want to hanldle trading Bouwmeester, if they even decide to. Word is they'd orefer to move Vokoun first.
More to come as soon as my creative ass thinks of somehting.

Draft is nearing, and my rumours are growing.

First Burke is busy taking calls and making calls. Names are beginning to surface. The following are being link to deals.
Kaberle, Pogge, Gerber and Stajan.
What about Tucker will he be returning to become the captain. I imagine there are several people out there with un-usable Tucker jersey's hanging on their walls. I'm sure they'd love to take them down and get another chance to wear them.

Chelios still wants to play. But where will it be. Could we see him on the west coast since he spends quite a bit of time in L.A. in the summer. Plus my story on Heatley landng in Boston could happen. A rivalry could erupt from it too. Kessell and Bergeron are names being mentioned in the deal, but is Bergeron still concussion prone. So a draft pick may get thrown in.

Now remember people these are only rumours, they're not to be taken seriously.

Tuesday, June 23, 2009

Hossa has a list of teams too!!! Heatley

Hossa wants to follow Heatley's lead and is going to list teams he wants to go to. At the moment he apparently has four so far. Here they in order of importance. He only wants to play for a team he will be comfortable with.

1. Detroit...they still might have a chance
2. Pittsburgh....of course.....they are the Stanley Cup champs.
3. Boston...Chara?
4. Ottawa....he misses Alfredsson
